Z -- 1) REPAIR HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM, (2) CONSTRUCT LOADING DOCK, AND (3) ALTER/REPAIR ENTRANCES AND AMBULANCE SHELTER SOL F11623-95-B0043 DUE 090695 POC MSgt Ed Claunch, Contract Specialist, 618-256-1500 x240. Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment services and supervision to REPAIR/ALTER/CONSTRUCT the following items at Medical Center, Bldg 1530, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The prinicple items of work shall include but not limited to the following. (1) Repair Hospital Emergency Room: Demolition of ceiling, doors, frames, walls, floor coverings, furnishings, ductwork, miscellaneous equipment. Replacing demolished systems with new systems. Providing structual modification, roof openings and support for roofmounted HVAC equipment. Installing modular millwork equipment/accessories, and nurse call system with devices that will be furnished by the government. Establishing temporary emergency room in bldg 1529 as specified, to include rebalancing air conditioning airflows. Restoring bldg 1529 to original configuration upon completion of work in bldg 1530. (2) Construct Loading Dock: Demolition of existing canopy, load dock and cantilever walkway. Installation of new load dock and supported walkway, dock leveler with electrical system, and standing seam metal roof canopy with drop metal ceiling. (3) Alter/Repair Entrances and Ambulance Shelter: Demolition of existing main hospital entrance and canopy, existing emergency room entrance and canopy, and existing ambulance parking shelter. Provide new main hospital entrance and canopy, emergency room entrance and canopy, outpatient entrance and canopy, ambulance emergency entrance canopy, ambulance parking shelter, HVAC systems for the main and emergency entrances, electrical lighting and power for the new structures. Relocation of existing underground utilities, and modifications to existing entrance drives. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
