The work for Part A includes the replacement of approximately 28,000 sq yards of deteriorated asphalt concrete pavement with new Portland cement concrete pavement suitable for parking of fully loaded large aircraft, install new mooring eyes, new static grounds and repaint pavement markings. Part B includes replacing approximately 7,500 sq yards of deteriorated asphalt concrete pavement with new Portland cement concrete pavement suitable for parking fully loaded aircraft. Replace asphalt concrete paving at perimeter of three helipads with new asphalt concrete paving. Project includes regrading as necessary to provide positive drainage. Repaint pavement markings. Install taxiway edge lights and helipad perimeter lights for three helipads and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 270 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1771 and the annual size standard is $7 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office.--Solicitation packages may be acquired in person from Plan Issue or by mail.--Telephone requests will not be accepted.--Requests for the solicitation package must be in writing stating solicitation number N68711-94-B-1586, complete name, address, area code and phone number and whether bidding as a prime/subcontractor/supplier.--Plan holders lists will not be faxed.--Mail requests to Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (Plan Issue), Building 132, 1220 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92132-5187 or fax requests to Plan Issue at (619) 532-2083.--Plans and specifications will be available on or about 28 July 1995 until supply is exhausted.--No deposit required.
