Furnish all plant, equipment and material, and perform all operations necessary to repair the roofing system, or a portion thereof, for Bldgs 23, 244, 290, 777, 1004 and 1080 (MUHJ 95-0470) at Langley AFB. Included in this work are repair of existing fascia, replacement and/or repair of built-up roof systems (to include installation of some built-up insulation), repair of corrigated metal roof system, repair of gutters, downspouts, flashing, soffit and other roof components. Work also entails the replacement of the entire roof systems of Bldgs 244, 1004, and 1080. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC is 1761. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two respondents that causes the solicitation to be 100% set-aside for SDB concerns in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) should, as early as possible, but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform, bonding capacity, financial assets or line of credit, work history and contacts, affirmative statement requesting set aside action, and a positive statement of eligibility as defined in FAR. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability shall be current and not dated any earlier than 90 days from the date of response. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Replies to this notice are therefore requested from all business concerns. All firms responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are bidding as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier.
