Construct interior walls, restroom & shower facilities, to include hollow metal doors, frames & overhead door; furnish & install complete mechanical systems consisting of furnaces & coil unit, condensing units, gas fired unit heaters, exhaust fan, plumbing connections & fill sprinkler system; furnish complete electrical systems: furnish complete fire alarm system with transmitter system compatible with base gire alarm systems. Performance is 180 calendar days. This notice is for Solicitation F41650-95-B-0434, 1 Job Lump Sum. The magnitude of the proposed project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Tentative date of issue is 01 Aug 95 with a tentative opening date of 31 Aug 95. The proposed acquisition listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 7 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing written notice to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone number, points of contact and contract numbers) and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capability includes experience in the specific construction area advertised as well as bonding capability. If adequate interest in not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full & open competition without further notice.
