Frame, Contracting Officer, (202) 634-4588 Provide the U.S. Department of Energy with maintenance on the following existing equipment: One Bohn model HDF-06 fluid cooler ten (10) ton HVAC system located in the Forrestal building Washington, DC. Two Five (5) ton Airflow HVAC systems located in the Forrestal switch room. Two Liebert Model UH240G-AAM deluxe upflow glycol-cooled HVAC (nominal 20 to) units located in the Germantown building, Germantown, MD. The solicitation will contain an option for the purchase and installing of two (2) new 65 ton Traine chillers in an existing mechanical room at the Forrestal building. Install new chilled water piping from the mechanical room, approximately 800 feet, tow the Switch-room. Install two (2) new 25 ton Liebert chilled water console A/C systems in the Switch-room, and two (2) 20 Ton Liebert chilled water console A/C systems with new duct-work in the LAN room G-093. The contractor will be responsible for the following: Engineering, Demolition of all existing A/C equipment, all materials, major electrical alterations, Insulation of chilled water piping, Alterations to existing automatic temperature control system, Temporary HVAC requirements during construction, Rigging, hauling disposal, and Site cleaning and disinfection. Contractor will submit an installation plan. The period of performance for this job is 12 months plus four (4) 1 year options. The estimated cost for this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The SIC Code is 1742.
