The project consists of furnishing manpower, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision required for Asbestos Removal, 1720 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63155-9998. A Walk-through (Preproposal Conference) is schedule for July 26, 1995, from 8:30 A.M. through 4:30 P.M. at the Processing and Distribution Center, St. Louis, Missouri, in Room 2038, Second Floor. The Scope of Work (SOW) includes the abatement and disposal of asbestos from the St. Louis Processing and Distribution and Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The Contractor shall reinsulate as required and dispose of all asbestos containing materials in a proper landfill. The Contractor shall provide testing, air monitoring, and take safety measures as described in the contract documents. The areas involved are located in all levels of the Processing and Distribution Center Building, and the Second Floor of the Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The estimated cost range is between $600,000 and $735,000. Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $50 per set, nonrefundable.
