The work of this project includes casting replacement sections of column shafts and capitals and removal of designated areas of failed column casings and attachment of newly cast sections; application of new sections of pebble-dash stucco finish to designated missing areas or to areas where previous repairs have been improperly executed; removal of loose and cracked sections of stucco on pilasters and performance of in-kind repairs or replacements; removal of exterior stucco layer on chimneys, performance of necessary repairs to chimney brickwork, and reapplication of new stucco over brickwork; replacement of wood shingle roof including corresponding flashing and sheet metal; in-kind replacement of existing copper half-round gutters and repair of existing copper conductor heads and corresponding downspouts; and applications of new liquid-applied rubber membrane coating to the upper deck. The estimated construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all size firms. This solicitation is a 100% labor surplus area set-aside.
