The work of this project consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and other incidentals necessary to remove and dispose of existing roofing materials and associated flashing; furnish and install new and replacement roof materials, including slate shingles; terne metal flashings, gutter liners and downspout; repointing and rebuilding of two brick chimneys; replacement in kind of deteriorated roofing sheathing and wood trim at eaves and rakes of roof and pointing of exposed sheet metal flashing and all replacement wood trim at the Gardner's Cottage, Roosevelt-Vanderbilt NHS, Hyde Park, New York. Optional work may include the repointing and rebuilding of brick parapet wall and parapet coping stones; furnishing and installing new tern metal roof and associated flashings and painting of exposed sheet metal roofing and flashings. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. It is subject to full and open competition.
