The 30th Contracting Squadron intends to place a contract with Alpheus Cleaning Technologies Corporation to provide and install a SDI-5 CO2 Dry Ice Cleanblast Corrosion Control System at Vandenberg AFB CA. System is an environmentally-friendly, highly-portable, self-powered unit that will be used for stripping and removing rust from metal structures such as missile launch and numerous other missile handling facilities. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, supplies, supervision, and transportation necessary for two (2) SDI-5 CO2 Cleanblast Corrosion Control Systems, two (2) Ambient Air Vaporizer Systems, four (4) racks of four liquid nitrogen cylinder systems, two (2) mounting trailers and all support equipment, kits, valves, etc. SIC Code is 3569. No contract shall be awarded on the basis of quotations, proposals, or other information received in response to this notice since this synopsis of intent to award a contract to Alpheus Cleaning Technologies Corporation cannot be considered a Request for Proposal (RFP). However, if responses from vendors offering their technical ability and technical acceptabilty can be established by examination of literature submitted, then the Contracting Officer may decide to resynopsize this acquisition under full and open competition. If no affirmative written responses are received within 10 days after publication of this notice to the effect that an acceptable alternative source is available, a contract will be negotiated with Alpheus Cleaning Technologies Corporation.
