A 5 year requirements contract is anticipated for compressor rotors for Allis Chalmers model VA 1409 Axial compressors. The rotors are approximately 182 inches long and 39 inches in diameter. The contractor will be required to install government furnished blades, inspect and balance the assembled rotor. Demonstrated experience at manufacturing, reblading and balancing of axial rotors of similar size and complexity is a requirement. A total estimated quantity of 7 rotors are expected during the contract. (0198)
