The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source to furnish and install hardware required to expand the capacity of existing 10 channel Dictaphone Recorders and Reproducers at McAlester, Oklahoma; DeRidder, Louisiana; Jonesboro, Arkansas and Albuquerque, New Mexico Automated Flight Service Stations (AFSS). The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Dictaphone Corp., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Opening date will be established in solicitation. A market survey was conducted on April 04, 1995, and the results of this survey support our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm.
