COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JULY 19,1995 PSA#1391Department of the Navy, Carderock Division Headquarters, Naval Surface
Warfare Center, Bethesda, MD 20084-5000 66 -- ACCELEROMETER CALIBATION SYSTEM SOL N00167-95-R-0131 DUE 090195
POC Contractr Negotiator, Stacia Sass, Code 3323, (301) 227-1079:
Contracting Officer, Faith L. Ferris, Code 3323, (301) 227-3602. The
salient characteristics shall include, but are not limited to the
following characteristics: The accelerometer calibration system shall
be capable of calibrating several types of accelerometers (including
ICP, high impedance, piezoresistive, strain gage, capacitive, and
servo) and IST Shock Recorders (each weigh 5 pounds). Signal
conditioning for all accelerometers must be provided as part of the
system. Reference accelerometer calibrations must be traceable to NIST
in the frequency range of 0.5Hz to 10KHz. The output from the
reference accelerometer shall be 100mV or greater. Calibrations must
include swept sine and step sine, random vibration, and shock events.
Overall accuracies must not exceed 0.5% for 5Hz to 5KHz range, 1.0% for
2Hz to 10KHz range, 2% for the 1Hz to 200Hz range, and 3% for the 0.5Hz
to 1Hz range. A system controller shall be provided to control the
calibrations, record and report the calibration results, archive the
results, and to ensure the sensors are calibrated in an identical
manner each time. The system will be provided with all necessarey
hardware to ensure a complete installation and shall not require any
additional services other than two 30 amp receptacles for electrical
power. (0198) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0570 19950718\66-0002.SOL)
