The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to purchase cobalt drier, hydrocarbon soluble (BEP Stock Number 1I000248) in accordance with BEP Specification D: CR-2C, dated March 28, 1995. The product must be suitable for use as an ingredient in the manufacturing of ink by the BEP. The period of performance is for one (1) twelve-month base period and two (2) one-year option periods. The estimated quantities for the cobalt hydrocarbon soluble is 28,315 pounds for the base period, 30,013 pounds for option year one (1) and 31,713 pounds for option year two (2). The solicitation, which will contain economic price adjustment provisions, will be available on or about July 24, 1995. Interested firms are required to submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation by this date and include in their written request their business size status (i.e., Large, Small, Minority, or Women-Owned).
