SWIZEWSKI, (215)697-9635 The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, ''Only One Responsible Source'', with Computer Curriculum Corporation, of Sunnyvale, CA, the manufacturer of the following Integrated Learning Systems (ILS) computer labs with SuccessMaker courseware: a) 75 each, ILS Workstation computers with 486 processor, 66MHz, 8MB RAM, 350MB Hard Disk, Sound Card, IDE 4X CD-ROM, Headphones, 10BaseT or Combo Network Card, SVGA Color Monitor, Mouse, DOS 6.2, Win 3.1; b) 3 each, Server for Network Pentium Processor, 100MHz, 32MB RAM, 2GB Hard Disk, External SCSI 4X CD-ROM Drive, SCSI Controller, SCSI Cable, 10BaseT Network Card(s), 14.4 Fax/Modem, PC Anywhere software, Tape Backup Drive with Backup Cartridge, SVGA Color Monitor, Mouse, DOS 6.2, Win 3.1; c) 3 each, 9GB External Hard Drive with control Card to be connected to the server and store the CAI software of the ILS; d) 3 each, Laser Printer, HP Laser Jet 4 Plus with EtherNet 10BaseT Card; e) 3 each, Network Software, Novell Netware 3.12, 100 User; f) 3 each, EtherNet 10BaseT Network Hub(s), other Hardware, Level-5 Hub based wiring, and full installation for each Lab; g) 120 days of Training in the use of the CAI and Management ILS software; h) 3 each, ILS Management System Software license for each server; i) 75 each, Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) full package SuccessMaker software license for each workstation; j) 3 each, Network Server Software installation; k) 75 each, Workstation software installation; l) 75 each, CAI Courseware Usage Fee from 01 Jan 96 to 30 Jun 96. This hardware is required by the Antilles Consolidated School System, Cieba, Puerto Rico. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to supply the requiredILS computer labs with SuccessMaker courseware, as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a request for quotation will be issued to Computer Curriculum Corporation. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
