87 -- FURNISH AND DELIVER 802,000 BAREFOOT HARDWOOD SEEDLINGS Sol DACW38-95-B-0094 Due 091295 POC Contract Specialist, Sophia Clark, (601) 631-5812 Furnish and Deliver a total of 802,000 one year old Barefoot Hardwood Seedlings. Of the total, 151,250 Barefoot Hardwood Seedlings will be delivered to U. S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Grenada, MS. The remaining barefoot seedlings will be loaded by the contractor onto Corps of Engineer carrier at the contractor's plant for delivery. The various Oak, Green Ash, Pecan, Sycamore, Baldcypress and Water Tupelo seedlings root collars shall not exceed 3/8 inch in diameter, and not less than 1/4 inch in diameter. The maximum height from root collar to the terminal bud shall not exceed 24 inches, nor be less than 12 inches. All tap root lengths for barefoot seedlings must measure between 6 inches (minimum) and 8 inches (maximum). The tap root length requirement is of paramount importance. Seedlings supplied must have originated from seeds collected from trees that grew within a 150 miles radius of Yazoo County, Mississippi. Delivery shall be made FOB destination to U. S.
