COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JULY 19,1995 PSA#1391Lookheed Martin Idaho Technologies Company, P.O. Box 1625, Idaho Falls,
ID 83415-3805 A -- INTEGRATED DOCUMENT/RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Contact Mr. John A.
Alexander. Lockheed Martin Idaho Technologies Company (LMIT), a
Management and Operating Contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE)
at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INL), is seeking
interested parties to enter into a Cooperative Research and Development
Agreement (CRADA) for the development of an integrated document/records
management system with commercial applicability. This action is not a
solicitation for a procurement contract. LMIT was awarded the contract
to operate the INEL located in Idaho Falls, Idaho and the Arco Desert
in the fall of 1994. Previous to this award, the INEL was operated by
five separate contractors with independent and disparate
document/records management systems. These systems range from paper to
optical imaging systems. LMIT is investigating the possibility of
integrating all document/records systems utilizing the existing
platforms, networks and systems. The ultimate goal is to develop an
electronic document/records management system which will control
documents and assure accessibility from their creation through
destruction. This effort is also complicated by the fact that the
systems are located in various locations in Idaho Falls and at the INEL
approximately fifty miles apart. All parties interested in
participating in this activity shall submit a letter of interest which
must contain financial and technical capabilities to: Lockheed Martin
Idaho Technologies Company, John A. Alexander, P.O. Box 1625, Idaho
Falls, Idaho 83415-3805. Letters of interest must be received by COB on
August 11, 1995. (198) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0006 19950718\A-0006.SOL)
