The basic period of performance is FY 1996, October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996 with Option to Renew for two additional 12-month periods. The above authority is cited and justification is made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. Note 22 of CBD applies and reads as follows: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a reqest for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. (0198)
