The Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, CA is soliciting for the services of medical facilities having the capability of providing medical care to inmates incarcerated at this institution. Contractor will be required to provide both In-Patient and Out-Patient care at contractor's facility and must have the abiliy to provide board certified physicians and provide various disciplines to perform needed medical services at the institution. Services will be required for the period Oct 1, 1995 or date of award, which ever is later, through 30 Sep 1996, with four (4), one year options. Only medical facilities within a twenty (20) mile radius from the institution will be allowed to submit a proposal. Also, the government may make multiple awards, and estimates that contract will be used for two-hundred days out of the year which includes base year and option years, if exercised. (198)
