The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and service required to perform all demolition and construction to repair existing aircraft painting facility, Building 315. Project includes: installation of new mechanical systems to redirect laminar 100 CFM air flow 90 degrees from existing, relocate existing aircraft hangar doors and all supporting systems to construct a return air plenum to provide adequate air flow for the painting of aircraft. The SIC Code for the project is 1541. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office of their intent to bid on this project as a prime contractor as soon as possible, but not later than 15 days from the date of this notice. The notification must include (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) evidence of capacity to obtain the required bonds; and (c) past performance data on projects that demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Information on your financial status, i.e. letter from banks, should also be submitted. If adequate interest is not received from at least two SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued, without further notice, on an unrestricted basis.
