The principal components of the work include: Removing the existing temporary foot bridge and transporting it to a location to be designated by the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative. The distance of the storage location from the removal site will not exceed 1,000 feet. Performing earthwork for the bridge abutments. Constructing reinforced concrete abutments for the bridge and concrete stairs at the south end of the bridge. Furnishing and installing a prefabricated steel truss bridge with a bar-grating deck. Furnishing and erecting approximately 250 linear feet of 8-foot-high security chain link fence with two 4-foot-wide single swing gates. Furnishing and installing handrails for the concrete stairs at the south end of the bridge. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to business status, including as to whether small, large, minority-owned, and/or woman-owned. This acquisition is an unrestricted procurement. The small business size standard for a concern, including its affiliates, is not to exceed $17 million in average annual receipts for its preceding 3 fiscal years.
