The work on the contract resulting from the solicitation shall consist of the rehabilitation of existing water tanks at the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area. This unit is located at Fort Hancock in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Thus major items in this work are as follows: 1) clean and paint interior and exterior of the tank; 2) furnish and install new cathodic protection; 3) furnish and install stairways and handrails; and 4) furnish and install obstruction light.
