Also included after the new system has been in satisfactory operation not less than 10 days will be the demolition of the remaining components of the existing water treatment system to include a 5000 gallon acid storage tank, concrete containment walls and supports, cation tanks, anion tanks, associated piping and accessories and repair of the concrete floor. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. Pursuant to PL 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this solicitation is classified as unrestricted. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 10 days from the date this notice first appears, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform, including performance and credit references, former contracts of simlar size and complexity, and a positive state of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are are requested from all interested parties as well as from SDB concerns.
