The work includes the construction of three (3) new public restroom facilities at the LAG, SP and Breezy Park Areas and the renovation of an existing public restroom facility at Breezy Park. The LAG and SP facilities are concrete masonry/brick walls, concrete floor slab, ceramic tile finished floors/wainscot, operable windows, pitched wood roof trussses and metal roofing. The LAG area has five (5) plumbing fixtures and shower each in both men's and women's rooms. The SP area has four (4) plumbing fixtures each in both men's and women's rooms. The New Breezy Park facility is concrete masonry/wood siding walls, concrete floor slab, ceramic tile finished floors/wainscot, operable windows, pitched wood roof trusses and asphalt shingle roofing. The renovation of the existing Breezy Park facility includes removal of asbestos and lead-containing paint, the replacement of all plumbing fixtures (five (5) each in women's, six (6) each in men's), ceramic tile finished floor/wainscot and pitched wood roof trusses with asphalt shingle roofing. Also included in the work for all facilities is electric heating, lights, pump station/force main sanitary systems, landscaping and incidental related work. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 04 August 1994. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first-come, first serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data. The check or money order must accompany your written request for bidding data. Written requests must be received in the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building Z-140, Third Floor, Room 309, Naval Station, Norfolk, Virginia 23511-5000 no less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening if you want the bidding data mailed.
