Z -- RENOVATE BUILDING #6, RESEARCH SOL 678-52-95 DUE 091195 POC Contact Point, Pam Hayes, (520)629-4611 The Contractor shall complete all work as described in specifications and drawings for the Renovate Building #6 for Research, Project No. 678-060, at the VA Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona. The project involves changes to the existing 2 story, 20,000 square foot building including selective demolition, alternations, sidewalks, relocation of existing underground utilities, installation of a handicap accessible ramp at the front entrance, modifications to existing steps and entries, handrails, removal of selected existing construction and structures, mechanical and electrical work, laboratory equipment and casework, concrete, masonry, structural work, new stucco walls and windows to enclose existing porches, new doors in existing masonry walls, new stairs on porches, new bathrooms, new masonry and drywall partitions, doors, hardware, locksets, resilient flooring, acoustical ceilings and all necessary interior utilities (plumbing, HVAC, laboratory gases, deionized water, fire protection (sprinklers and fire alarm system), power lighting and communications. Bid package will be available to all qualified bidders on or about August 7, 1995.
