The subject project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove existing paint and repaint existing fuel tanks, above ground piping and accessories. This description serves as general information only and is not intended to include or describe every feature of work. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The SIC Code for the project is 1799. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office of their intent to bid on this project as a prime contractor as soon as possible, but not later than 15 days from the date of this notice. The notification must include (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) evidence of capacity to obtain the required bonds; and (c) past performance data on projects that demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Information on your financial status, i.e. letter from banks, should also be submitted. If adequate interest is not received from at least two SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued, without further notice, on an unrestricted basis. Therefore, responses are requested from all interested business concerns as well as SDB concerns.
