The 50th Space Wing (AFSPC) intends to issue a draft Request for Proposal (RFP), number FA2550-95-R-0011, for reacquisition of the Civil Engineering Operations and Maintenance Services of the Operations Facilities at Falcon Air Force Base (FAFB), Colorado. The proposed effort is to provide operations, maintenance, repair, and construction support services required to perform Civil Engineering functions for Falcon Air Force Base (FAFB) mission operations, facilities, and auxiliary systems. Services include operation, maintenance, repair, test and inspection of all installed Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical distribution systems, facility water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and solid state uninterruptible power systems. Services are required 24 hours-per-day, 7 days-per-week. It is contemplated that this effort will be for one basic year with four one-year priced options. The period of performance will begin on 1 Oct 96. The contract type is expected to be cost-plus-award-fee, and the acquisition will be unrestricted (full and open competition).
