Sugino, (312) 669-5942 The United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the furnishing and installation of a new multizone heating and air- conditioning rooftop unit to replace existing unit. The project requires demolition and removal of existing rooftop multizone air-conditioning and heating unit with associated ducts, gas piping and others as indicated in plans. Subsequently, furnish and install new structural steel supports and a new rooftop multizone heating and air-conditioning unit and extend existing ductwork, gas piping and electrical work to new unit per drawings and specifications. The construction cost range is $100,000.00 to $150,000.00. Evaluation factors in addition to price to be considered are as follows: (1) Owner's references; (2) Experience with HVAC systems; (3) Satisfactory performance on previous Postal contracts, and; (4) Financial stability. Plans and specification will be available on or about July 12, 1995. Plans and specification will be provided for a non-refundable cost of $10.00.
