The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, services and equipment to perform all work in connection with surface preparation, sealing, priming and painting exterior surfaces of stucco walls, masonry walls, metal frames, fascia and doors of buildings on the campus of SIPI. Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) require that prime contractors give preference in employment and training to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that preference in award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises. Failure by the prime contractor to submit a subcontracting plan for doing so prior to award and implement same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award or termination of the contract for default. The solicitation package for this project will be issued on or about July 28, 1995, with a bid opening date of August 28, 1995, 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time.
