This project requires all plant, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to remove and install approximately 1,460 square yards of carpet and 2,763 linear feet of cove base in thirty-seven (37) rooms and their adjoining hallways in Building 345, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 111th Fighter Group, Willow Grove Air Reserve Station, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. The measurements do not account for waste. The work will involve the removal and disposal of existing carpet, raised rubber tile and cove base, removal, relocation and subsequent return of existing furnishings and equipment other than computers to their respective rooms, preparing substrates to include repair of minor cracks and depressions as well as clearing away all debris and cleaning the surface and the installation of new carpet, threshold strips and cove base. The performance period for this project has been estimated as forty-five (45) calendar days. The estimated construction range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation, an Invitation for Bid, will be available fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice. The Bid Opening Date will be no less than thirty (30) calendar days after availability of the solicitation. The projected date for availability of the Invitation for Bid is 9 August 1995 with a projected Bid Opening Date of 12 September 1995. The solicitation will be unrestricted. A limited number of solicitations with accompanying specifications will be available on a first come first serve basis. At no cost, the solicitation and specifications may be inspected at the United States Property and Fiscal Office, Annville, Pennsylvania. A copy of the solicitation will also be sent to Dodge Reports, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Construction News, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Any requests pertaining to the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the United States Property and Fiscal Office, Annville, Pennsylvania no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the Bid Opening Date. With your request for a solicitation, each firm must include their Federal Tax Identification Number, corporate status and a business size. Corporate status means the offeror's designation as a (1) sole proprietorship, (2) partnership, or (3) other corporate entity. For determining business size, the Standard Industrial Classification for this acquisition is 1752. The small business size standard for this classification is 7 million - average annual gross revenue for the last three fiscal years.
