The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to negotiate with Goebel America on a sole source basis for repair parts for the C Press Goebel Machine #1440. The mandrel, designed cylinder, core with inner rings is designed and manufactured solely for use on Goebel equipment. Goebel America is the only source for the required part which must meet specifications to allow mounting on the BEP's equipment. No Request for Quotation (RFQ) is available. Interested vendors must respond within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall include information which establishes that they can meet the above requiremets. Responses to this synopsis must be in writing. No telephone inquires will be accepted. (0199)
