Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions
over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-95-G-6314 with
General Scientific Corporation, 1215 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Arlington, VA
22202-4302. Orders will be issued for Refurbishments which include:
repair actions for preliminary disassembly, inspection, and tests to
determine if the articles are repairable, and repair services
consisting of labor and material required to inspect, overhaul, repair
and/or modify, calibrate, test, and package repair parts for the
Airborne Stream and Recovery Module (ASRM). Orders will be issued
pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). General Scientific Corporation, is
the system developer and current sole producer of the ASRM. It is the
only company which currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge
of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily perform the work under
the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical
qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described
herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's
requirements. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities
