The MILSATCOM Terminal Programs Office (ESC/MC) at the Electronic System Center, Hanscom AFB, MA is seeking information to determine the availability of 44 GHz 200 Watt Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs) for use in Milstar terminals used in fixed ground, ground transportable, and aircraft applications. Interested companies must contact the POC within ten (10) working days of the publication of this announcement to declare their interest in participating in this market survey and to request a copy of the TWT specification (G265051-2). The purpose of the market survey is to identify potential sources of supply in conjunction with the Department of Defense (DoD) Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) program for 44 GHz 200 watt TWTs. Within twenty (20) working days of receiving the specification, companies must submit a brief technical description of their TWT (not to exceed two pages), the extent to which their TWT has undergone development, production, and/or qualification, and a brief description of their related manufacturing and development experience (not to exceed two pages), to the POC. Responses must also include company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and facsimile telephone number. Foreign owned sources should identify themselves as such. This announcement/market survey may not lead to a future competitive procurement activity and is not to be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor as Government intent to issue an RFP.
