BROWN, Tel:505-524-5134 NASA JSC White Sands Test Facility intends to award a firm fixed price contract for SCRAMNet interface boards to connect MODCOMP Realstar 1000 and Digital Alpha 1000 computers to be used in the NASA WSTF Propulsion Test Office replacement DACS systems. The equipment includes the Systran Corporation's EISA and 6U VME Bus interface boards, fiber optic bypass switches, and the core software licenses. Functional requirements includ e: transfer data at a minimum of 6Mbytes per sec with a maximum delay between nodes of 1msec; transmission errors must be detected and data re-sent; the modules must be capable of generating an interrupt when selected memory locations are updated; etc. This acquisition is supporte d by a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition. The appro ved source is Systran Corporation, 416 Linden Ave., Dayton, OH, 45432. Firms that recognize and can provide the required equipment described abo ve are requested to identify themselves in writing to Jason Eickenhorst at fax number 505-524-5130. Each firm must provide detailed supporting evidence that will substantiate their claim and allow for participation. It is anticipated that award will be made on or about July 31, 1995.
