TYE, (512)326-6031 The Department of Veterand Affairs, Austin Automation Center, Austin, Texas intends to negotiate sole source with Sterling Software for the maintenance of SAMS Disk Basis System (consisting of VSAM Support, TSO Command Processor, Volume Configuration, and TSO/ISPF Interface Panels) with the options of DASD Billing, CA-Top Secret Interface, Allocate and Defrag for FY 96. The request is for written quotations and the anticipated award date is August 15, 1995. No solicitation documents are available and requests for such will be considered nonnn-responsive. Responses must be in writing, must be received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice, and must include pricing and documentation in sufficient detail to allow for the evaluation of service. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing respponses to this synopisi of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additonal synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
