R6-14-95-41 Due 082895 Contact Merle Matthews, 503/278-3843 The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting bids to construct 7.2 miles of trail in a roadless area in Union County, Oregon on the Walla Walla Ranger District. The bridge (including abutements), will be supplied by the Contractor and will need to be airlifted in by helicopter, is 65' in length, steel prefab, 6' wide (one span), 200 psf uniform live load and 10,000 lb vehicle load. There are two bid items. Bidders may limit their bid to the trail building or bridge only. Desired start work date is September 1995. Job must be completed by October 31, 1996.
