The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns that meet this criteria who wish to be considerd in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with points of contact, telephone number and contract number), letter from bonding company certifying maximum level of bonding for the proposed project, affirmative statement requesting set-aside action and intent to bid, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. Even if you have sent evidence of SDB eligibility on a prior solicitation, you must submit documentation that will become a part of this solicitation file. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, within fifteen days of this notice, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The work includes furnishing all labor, material and equipment as required for the landscaping and site renovations exterior to existing buildings including removal and disposal of existing asphalt paving, concrete paving, concrete curb, aggregate subbase, inlets, reinforced concrete pipe, sod, topsoil, trees, shrubs, mulch, concrete foundation, and residual excavated material; remove and relocate flagpole, gun monuments, benches, fire hydrant, P.O.W. memorial trees, bike rack, street signs; relocate incidental removals and installations; installation of subbase, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb, inlets, manhole, concrete pipe, concrete pavement, concrete unit pavers, trees, topsoil, shrubs, turf, raised planters, benches, bike racks, planting beds, subsurface drainage, light standard, electrical duct bank, street signs, striping, mowstrips and accent lighting; utility cutovers for stormwater, firewater and electric service and all incidental related work. Estimated price range: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Number of days in contract: 90. Number of bid items: One (with Unit Price Schedules).
