Replace the sitework to include regrading base, paving, drainage and striping and other exterior imporvements; interior finishes; doors, windows and frames, ceiling systems, misc steel, associated asbestos and lead abatement, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation; plumbing and fixtures; electrical wiring and fixtures, and all related demolition and repair. Alterations include new brick veneer, new locking systems, new landscaping and other new finishes and misc other work. All work shall be accomplished in accordance withe the specifications, drawings, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC is 1542. the proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set aside for small disadvantaged business(SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two respondents that causes the solicitation to be 100% set aside for SDB concerns in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) should, as early as possible, but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform, bonding capacity, financial assests or line of credit, work history and contacts, affirmative statement requesting set aside action, and a positive statment of eligibility as defined in FAR. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability shall be current and dated any earlier than 90 days from the date of repsonse. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Replies to this notice are therefore requested from all business concerns. All firms responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are bidding as a prime contractor, subcontractor,or supplier.
