CORRECTION--This notice was printed on June 19, 1995 and on July 7, 1995 under the classification code Z. Plans and Specifications will be available on or about July 21, 1995 from the Bid Custodian, 9000 Rockville Pike, Building 13, Room G-800, Bethesda, Maryland at a non-refundable cost of $150.00. Bids will be due on or about August 21, 1995. The scope of work previously synopsized shall also include the following: 1) Option 1 - Add a second year to the preventive and corrective maintenance contract for the UPS system specified in Section 16610. 2) Deduct 1 - Omit Generator No.3 (''G3''), feeder between ''G3'' and paralleling switchgear (''PSG''), associated breaker (item 8) in ''PSG'', as well as, all mechanical work (exhaust pipe, remote radiator, fuel piping, etc.) associated with ''G3''. Provide equipped space for future omitted circuit breaker in ''PSG''. 3) Deduct 2 - Omit transformer ''NT6'', 13.8kV feeder between cable tray and ''NT6'', 800 amp busway between ''NT6'' and 1600 ampere busway serving Emergency/Normal Switchgear (''ENSG''). Contract Performance Period will be Three Hundred and Sixty Five (365) calendar days, exclusive of Optional Services, following Notice to Proceed. The period of performance for Option #1, if exercised, is 365 calendar days from last day of the 1st year maintenance agreement. The low bidder for purposes of award is the responsible bidder offering the lowest aggregate price for the base bid plus option #1 minus the deductive bid items (listed in descending order on the bid schedule) within the funds determined by the Government to be available before bids are opened. In any case, all bids shall be evaluated on the basis of the same aggregate amount for the base bid plus option #1 minus the deductive bid items. The listed order of priority for the deductive items need only be followed for determining the low bidder. Further information concerning the bid opening will be noted in the IFB.
