Furnish all plant, equipment and material, and perform all operations necessary to Repair/Alter exterior of Bldg 271 (MUHJ 95-0100 A/B). Work includes bricking up exterior, enclose front and back loading docks, add a mansard roof and a new handicap ramp, and new stairs, Langley AFB VA. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and terms and conditions of the contract. Magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC is 1542. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns who wish to be one of the two repondents that causes the solicitation to be 100% set aside for SDB concerns in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) should, as early as possible, but NLT 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing to the Contracting Office evidence of capability to perform,bonding capacity, financial assets or line of credit, work history and contracts, affirmative statement requesting set aside action, and a positive statement of eligibility as defined in FAR. Letters from sureties and banks attesting to capability shall be current and dated any ealier than 90 days from the date of response. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Replies to this notice are therefore requested from all business concerns. All firms responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are bidding as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or supplier.
