Project involves reconfiguring four existing classrooms into three classrooms and provides new flooring, ceiling, lighting, HVAC and painting all walls. This project also includes providing a handicap ramp to gain access to the rooms. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance period is 180 calendar days from notice-to-proceed. The SIC code for this project is 1542. This action is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid no later than 08 August 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform project of this complexity and magnitude. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
