Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to the following: All electrical primary and secondary overhead power distribution and street lighting circuits will be removed from poles and disposed of; poles, switches, transformers, lighting fixtures, housing service entrance switches and all associated equipment will be removed and disposed of; 12.47kV electric power distribution and 240 volt street lighting circuits will be installed underground; electrical services to housing units and buildings will be installed underground; and electrical power distribution system switching equipment and transformers will be vault/pad mounted. Performance period is 210 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. IFB will be issued on or about 15 August 1995. The proposed procurement listed herein is restricted to Small Disadvantaged Businesses. If interest is not generated in the SDB population within a reasonable time frame this procuement will be converted to Unrestricted status. All Small Disadvantaged Businesses are urged to respond immediately upon seeing this notice. Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1623. Any concern responding to this solicitation is classified as a small business if the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years do not exceed $17.0 million dollars.
