Repair Kissimmee Road, Avon Park AFR, FL. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to resurface the asphalt road between Morgan Hole Bridge and the gate leading to Charlie Range. The road resurfacing work is approximately 4.64 miles long and 12 feet wide. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 4 Aug 1995. The bid opening date will be on or about 5 Sep 1995. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. SDB concerns interested in having the project set-aside should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing previous project references of similar work, bonding capacity, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
