Work includes but is not limited to demolition of 136 existing concrete patio slabs at Geiger Heights Family Housing units and replacement with new, reinforced concrete patio slabs over compacted subgrade and crushed rock subbase. The estimated value of the work is between $100,000 and $250,000. The contract performance period shall be 180 calendar days. Government furnished materials will not be included. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1521. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about 8 August 1995 under the Straddle Bid Program. This procurement is being considered for 100% Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should contact the Fairchild AFB contracting office as soon as possible, but no later than 4 August 1995. Interested parties must include a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB concern, evidence of capacity to obtain bonds for a project of this magnitude, and information that demonstrates a capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude.
