This is a GENERAL outline of the work to be performed and does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment required to fulfill the intent of the specifications that will be part of the solicitation. The work consists of kitchen renovation in family housing units at Stewart Army Subpost (STAS), and may include: replace kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks and fittings; provide or replace valves in cold and hot water supply lines; install new faucets for portable type dishwashers; replace existing light fixtures and exhaust fans; provide and install new garbage disposal units; remove and replace sheet vinyl flooring and deteriorated underlayment; repaint kitchens. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000and $500,000. This includes the base bid and two option years. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to Business Opportunity Reform Act of 1988, Title III, Public Law 100-656.
