Adler, Contracting Officer 520/341-2475 Work includes providing all material, equipment, supervision and performing all labor necessary for the repair and rebuilding of the Station's electrical distribution system. This project provides for the transfer of facility electrical loads from an existing overhead distribution sytem to a new overhead distribution system, installed under Phases I and II of previous projects. Some sections of the existing system are to remain, allowing transfer of many loads by refeeding these sections from the new pole risers to existing transformers. Subdistribution and communications/security circuits are not being removed from the exisiting poles as part of this project, preventing existing poles from being removed. Instead, poles are to be topped about 12'' above any remaining circuits folowing removal of existing primary distribution. The work is divided into three parts: the Base Bid and two options. This solicitation is unrestricted. SIC is 1731. Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. Plans & Specifications should be available approximately 18AUG95 on first come first serve basis. Estimated cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estimated bid opening is 18SEP95. Completion date is 240 days. (199)
