Thomas, (706)731-7176 Furnish eyeglasses for veterans of the VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia, at an estimated quantity of 1500 pairs for a one-year period. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment and materials to provide prescription eyeglasses, lenses, frames, accessories, measurement and fitting. Delivery is required within 7 days after receipt of prescription. Area of consideration - 20 mile radius of Augusta, Georgia; contractor must be able to provide daily courier service for delivery and pick-up of eyeglasses at the VA Medical Center. The contractor's establishment will be in compliance with the American Disability Act for handicapped accessibility and must be staffed with a Certified Optician at all times. The contract period will be October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996 with 2 one-year options to extend. Anticipated issued date is on or about August 4, 1995.
