NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue RFP5-37720/999 on a sole-source basis to Space Electronics, Inc., 4031 Sorrento Valley Blvd., San Diego, CA 92121 for the acquisition of an actel a1280 packaged in radiation-hardened rad-pak packaging and an mx7672 packaged in radiation-hardened rad-pak packaging - 100 krads (si) minimum total dose tolerance. Space Electronics, Inc. is the only manufacturer to rad-pak the needed parts to class S packaging and screening. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements within 15 days of the publication of this notice to the above address. The response shall be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish bona fide capability to meet these requirements. This procurement is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement is reserved for small businesses. This Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3674, with a small business size classification of 500.
