MCGLINN, (215)697-9644 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment, Philadelphia, intends to acquire Federal Information Processing (FIP) Systems Development and Programming Services to support the Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Technical Analysis Working Group (ETAWG), which was established by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to promote the standardization of analog and digital hardware and software and direct the configuration management and life cycle support of common technical ELINT analysis suites and their components. The contractor shall conduct advanced studies and provide recommendations on the feasibility of converting existing ELINT analysis software to take advantage of state-of-the-art advances in analysis and computing hardware, their operating systems, and support software. Services will be provided to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Fleet Combat Direction Systems Support Activity at Virginia Beach, Virginia. The proposed acquisition will be solicited on the basis of full and open unrestricted competition. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract comprising one twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods is planned.
