J -- MAINTENANCE OF MINICAMS SOL DAAC01-95-R-0029 DUE 083095 POC Contract Specialist Eric Tippit (205) 235-7618 (Site Code DAAC01) Anniston Army Depot intends to award a sole source contract to CMS Research, 200 Chase Park South, Suite 100, Birmingham, Al 35244, to perform all tasks necessary to repair and maintain 24 each, Miniature Continuous Air Monitoring Systems (MINICAMS) listed by the following CMS serial numbers: 1709, 1616, 1617, 1765, 1766, 2101, 2137, 2138, 2120, 2136, 2097, 2139, 2123, 2105, 2099, 2108, 2106, 2140, 2141, 2107, 2142, 2121, 2122, 2100. CMS Research maintains proprietary data rights to the electronic boards and schematics required to service and maintain the MINICAMS and isn't interested in selling those rights. Consequently, this requirement will be negotiated with only one source under the Statutory Authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)6.302-1. Service to be performed at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, AL 36201-4199. The MINICAMS will provide continuous air monitoring in the Chemical Limited Area (CLA) of Anniston Army Depot for the period 1 Oct 95 through 30 Sep 96. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent.
