The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Contract for an estimated 97,000 manhours of Design Agent Engineering and technical Services associated with the operation and maintenance of the Mk 92 Fire Control System (FCS) for both the United States Navy and Foreign Fleets. Unisys Corporation, Government Systems Group is the only U.S. manufacturer of the MK 92 FCS and is the only company to maintain the technical expertise to design, manufacture, operate and troubleshoot (to the design level) any aspect of the system. Therefore, the intended solicitation package shall be issued only to Unisys Corporation of Great Neck, NY as they are the design agent for the MK 92 FCS.
